Giving Back Through the Homes for Hope Project

That’s why we were honored to be part of the Homes for Hope project, a charitable homebuilding project designed to make a difference in the lives of families worldwide. Through our discounted HVAC services, we played an impactful role in helping this initiative raise funds and change lives.
The Homes for Hope project is an incredible initiative where builders, trade partners, and suppliers come together to construct homes. The proceeds from the home sales go directly toward funding microloans for entrepreneurs in underserved communities worldwide. These microloans provide a “hand-up” rather than a handout, allowing families to start businesses, generate income, and break free from poverty. This cycle of giving continues as loan repayments go toward helping even more families.
At Ressler & Mateer, we provided discounted HVAC services for the Homes for Hope project, ensuring that the house at Meadows at Strasburg had a top-tier heating and cooling system. This contribution reduced overall project costs and increased the funds available for charitable giving. Seeing the generosity of all involved has been inspiring, and we’re proud to have played a role in this charitable homebuilding project.

This is the tenth Homes for Hope project completed by EG Stoltzfus, the builder leading this initiative. Each project has been an opportunity to collaborate with trade partners and suppliers who share a vision for giving back. One of the most remarkable aspects of the Homes for Hope project is the impact a single home can have. The funds raised from the sale of just one house can assist up to 4,000 families.
